Welcome April, Welcome Hectic Month

Happy April Fool's day~~
Wow time surely fly really fast right? Seems like yesterday is still January and now it is already April..fiuuh~~

April will be a hectic month for me. For your info, I work as an accountant and my final job every year is make an annual tax report (the deadline is on April). When I was in college, my lecturer always warned us about how hard it is to make a reconciliation of financial report and tax report. And now as I work in a “real” world, I found it is really haaarrdddd.. need more concentration and energy.. Yesterday I found a little mistake in my last year financial report and because of that I must rewrite a new journal for 1 year!! But… the most depression moment is.. after I rewrite a new journal, it checked by my boss and then he found out that the right one is the journal before and the mistake is on other journal. *WTF* so I must delete my new journal and make another journal for 1 year again, and after that I must rewrite the tax report again. *Sigh* I even don’t have any idea again for my report name. FYI again, I can’t just overwrite the old files with a new one because boss will check the new one and compare with the old to make sure the mistake was corrected. So what happened to my files are:

Tax Report 2011 (The original one)

Tax Report 2011 New - Tax Report 2011 Fix - Tax Report New Fix - Tax Report SUPER NEW - Tax Report SUPER NEW FIX (After so many revision *lol*)

Anyway forget about my job, let’s start this month with something happy and delicious ^_~. I will start this month with food post XD.

One day before my sister left Surabaya (February 2012), we had a dinner at our favourite japanesse restaurant called Hachi-Hachi. We met Irfan Bachdim there!! (Indonesia's Famous Football Player). No, I don’t take a picture with him (if you ask where is the picture?) because he already busy with his fans. I think he is more handsome in real life than on screen :p

Into the food ~~

We ended that night by having a big dessert at Haagen Dasz :)

This is called Ice Cream Fondue ^^ Quite pricey for an Ice cream, but it is really delicious! No regret at all :p

Random: I was bored yesterday so I decided to make a little experiment with my nails :p. just a simple polka dot because I'm not really good with nail art.

Review: Viva Milk Cleanser and Face Tonic Bengkuang

Helloo~~ I just realized that I rarely talk about local beauty product in my blog. Because of that, today I will do a little review about Viva Cleansing Milk and Toner. Viva Cosmetics is a local brand from Indonesia and the main factory is located at Surabaya (my hometown ^^). I used this brand as my cleanser since I’m at highschool. My skincare doctor said, that Viva’s products are really suitable with asian's skin, so it is really good if I use this as my daily cleanser. There are many varians of this cleanser and toner, but my favourite is Bengkoang Varians.

Packaging: The bottle made from plastic so it is really safe and suits me well (I often drop my bottle when I’m in rush :p)
Price: IDR 3.500 for 180 ml. Really cheap ^^
Ingredients Cleansing milk:
Ingredients Toner:

My opinion: I really love these products. It is removes all my make up well (even BB cream) and doesn’t make my skin feels tight or dry. The toner does a good job for refreshing my face. The whitening ingredients are really work too. I already use these products for quite long time and I can tell you that my face is whiter and brighter than before. And not to forget the price is cheap and I can easily get this in every supermarket/hypermarket. ^_~

Happy Friday and See you on next post ~~

First Year

This is a random post about my life.

Today, March 28th 2012 marks my 1st anniversary in my office now. I officially start my job at April 1st, but I entered the office’s door and began my training on March 28th one year ago. I'm (un) officially graduated from my university on March 8th 2011 and 20 days after the announcement, I acquired my first job at this office.

I was a fresh graduated. Clueless about what will waiting me in this office. Clueless about what should I do next. Clueless about my boss’s character, etc. I spent my first three months with a fear. Afraid to ask, afraid to answer, afraid to my boss, basically I’m afraid to anything because I'm still new and didn’t know anything. My boss often asked me to “fight” with gave me a lot of hard questions. Sometimes if I answer right, he still mad at me with no reason *I don’t even know what’s wrong with my job??*.

at that point I really hate him and want to leave out this office, but still I survived! *what doesn't kill you will make you stronger, right?*

I fall in love with this office, fall in love with this job. My officemates are nice and kind. My salary is acceptable and my job is not stressfull at all *unless there is a problem with the money :p*. My boss has changed too, he isn’t like a “monster” but become more soft and calm. My officemates even called me “boss’s favourite” he5.

I'm really thankful that I can have this job as my job, even though it is tough in the beginning. ^_____^

PS: Now I start using meme in my post..hahaha I found it is really funny!

Review: Luview Whitening Capsule BB Cream

Hello~~ This is another Luview’s Product review. I got this as a giveaway prize along with the sun powder (read my review here). My first impression about this BB cream: It is really slim and high ha5. See the packaging:

It comes with a little pump, so it is really hygienic.

From The website:

Natural and luminous skin from micro capsule containing aloe extracts
Light is not only reflected on the surface but it is also naturally re-emitted from deep within the skin. Aloe ingredients keeps surface radiant by absorbing excessive sebum and skin's inner moisturizing
Magic capsule for customized finish Upon application, the micro capsule inside cream pops and turns into an natural skin color with pearl shinning
Natural light effect Enhance skin's natural light with pearl shinning
Non-irritating natural minerals doesn't cause break-outs
How to use:
At the final stage of the skin care, take appropriate volume and apply for light pounding. Makeup base and foundation are not required to use separately.
Benefit : Whitening, Pure moisturizing, Cell-rejuvenation
Skin types : Oily, Combination Skin
Color Types : 1L-Light beige
Volume : 34g Price: US$ 22.80
Swatch: I’m really surprise about this BB cream’s color, because the first time I pump it the color is white. After I blend a little the white color slowly change into a beige color and match with my skin tone perfectly yay~~

Final Result: Super matte!
What I Love:
The color match with my skin tone perfectly.
Lightweight and fit for daily use.
Brighten my face after I apply it.
Have a little glitter that makes my face sparkling.
What I hate:
The coverage is low. I must apply a lot of concealer if I want a smooth finish.
The oil control is normal (3 hours). I was expecting more, because this should be suitable for oily skin.
It is quite Pricey and I can only order it online via
Repurchased: No. I need to buy BB cream with heavy coverage because I have a lot of acne scar.
Have you already tried this BB cream? What are your opinion about this product? Share with me ~~

Review: Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever Pore Primer Essence

Image Taken From: Google

Hello ladies, how are you today?
Today I will review another products from Etude House. It is Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever Pore Primer Essence.
Product Description:
Moisturizing makeup primer masks pores to subdue sebum and improve makeup coverage.
I use a sample version for this review. Even the sample's design is cute right? I love the baby blue color.

How it looks like:

My opinion:
I used this primer before BB cream. This primer gives me a cool sensation like put an ice on my face. After apply it, I use the Maybelline Clear Smooth BB cream. After 5-6 hours I realized something wonderful. My face doesn't feel oily!! Yes I swear, I usually use oil control paper every 4 hours, but when I used this primer, I don't even use 1 of the oil control paper for 5 hours. This is so WOW!

What i love about this product:
Give me a cool sensation after apply it
Makes my skin smooth after using it and slightly reduce my pores size
The texture is quite watery and moisturize well.
The oil control is really good.

What I hate about this product:
The smell is quite strong.
Take a time to absorb.
Repurchased: Yes :)

Review: The Body Shop Shea Body Butter

My skin condition can’t be considered as very dry, but early this year I have a problem with some dry patches. I don’t exactly know what happened, but suddenly I have some dry patches on my right arm. At first I think it will disappear after some time, but after 1 week I realized it still there and become more dry. I use anything to remove it, such as body scrub and body lotion. Until I decided to use this body butter. This body butter is suitable for a very dry skin.

From the website:
Best if you want to: Treat your skin to non-stop moisturization with a rich, intensive cream featuring the clean scent of shea.
Best for: very dry skin
How it works: Community Trade shea butter has antioxidant vitamins A and E to help protect and nourish skin. Community Trade cocoa butter is an excellent moisturizer that melts at body temperature, leaving skin soft and silky smooth.

Water (Solvent/Diluent), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) (Emollient), Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) Butter (Emollient), Cyclomethicone (Emollient), Glycerin (Humectant), Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), PEG-100 Stearate (Surfactant), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Babassu (Orbignya Oleifera) Oil (Emollient), Beeswax (Emulsifier/Emollient), Lanolin Alcohol (Stabiliser/Emollient), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Fragrance (Fragrance), Methylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Caramel (Colour), F D & C Yellow No 5 (Colour).

My opinion:
Unlike the body lotion, body butter is more thick and creamy. The butter is thick when first applied but it will sort of melts as I rub it in. it is absorb quickly and a little goes a long away. The scent is nice and slightly sweet. I don’t use this on all over my body, I only use a little on my dry skin area. After use this for almost 2 months, my skin condition is become better, my dry patches are slowly reduce and back to normal skin. It does a perfect job of moisturizing and keep my skin feels healthy and fresh.
Price: IDR 169.000 for 200 ml
Love it or Not? Love it~~
