Review: BRTC Blemish Recover Balm

Image Taken From: Google

Hello I'm back with another sample review~~ This time I decide to try the famous BRTC Blemish Recover Balm. This BB cream is well known for the full coverage and suitable for those with acne prone skin (That's me!!). Last month I purchased some samples of this BB cream. I try the samples before, because the full tube is quite expensive. So, if this BB cream doesn't suits me, it doesn't really waste my money :p. After use this for 2 weeks, here is my review~~

From The Website:
The BRTC Blemish Recover Balm is specially designed for troubled skin, touting such properties as oil control, trouble care, and skin protectant. This BB Cream also has SPF28, is moisturizing and oil free. It's features natural ingredients such as lavendar, chrysanthemum, dandelion root and various flower extracts.

Ingredients:

Swatch:

Finish Result: Matte

What I love:
The texture is thick and give me a medium-high coverage.
Cover blemishes and little pimples well.
Feels lightweight on my skin.
Oil Control is good (4-5hours).
Moisturize my skin well but not makes my face oily.
Has SPF 28/PA++.
It doesn't cause me a break out or new acnes.

What I hate:
Quite pricey for full tube.
Hard to get in my country.

Repurchased: Yes~~

    1. I don’t think it heals my acne scar, because my scar is still there hehehe. I think it will take longer time to see the healing effect. I bought my samples at chicprincessa.com ^^

  2. Nice review! I've always wanted to try this bb cream. But after reading some reviews, people often complains about the thickness of this cream. Does your skin feels heavy with this bb cream on? You skin looks pretty matte and flawless ^_^~

    1. Hi janet,
I don't feel heavy on my face, because I just use a little for my entire face. Usually I use a compact powder for the final layer, but when I used this BB cream I chose to end it by using loose powder. So overall it doesn't makes my face feels heavy.

I've always been curious to try BB cream (yes, I'm a beginner >.<) n really want to try one esp this brand since I have acne prone skin.. Now I know where I can buy the samples..
Anyway, so after we put BB cream we can still put powder? If yes, which one is better? Loose or compact? Or is it better use it without powder?? How the way did you usually wear it??
    Sorry too much to ask..
    And Thank you!!

    1. Hello Tokki~
To use powder (or not) after BB cream is depends on the people itself. For me, I love to use loose powder after I apply BB cream, because BB cream usually have an oily texture (and I have a super oily skin even when i don't use anything on my face) so to reduce that "oil" on my face, I use the loose powder. For which one is better, compact or loose? It is depends on the BB cream. If the BB cream’s coverage is already heavy, usually I use loose powder as final touch (for example: BRTC). If the BB cream’s coverage is light, usually I use compact powder as final touch.
I hope my answers can solve your questions, Thanks for coming to my blog~

    1. Hello there, I don't know if this product being sold in watsons or not. Usually I purchased online. If you still 14 years old I don't really reccomend you to use cosmetic because you still very young. When I was on your age I only use light loose powder for my daily makeup. But it is depends on you, if you want to try cosmetic, it would be better to use BB Cream than foundation *my opinion*
