Hi ladies, How are you? Today I want to share my opinion about my latest foundation from Maybelline called Dream Satin Skin. I rarely use foundation unless when I go to party. My skin can't stand foundation for long time. Everytime I used it for more than 5 hours for 2 days straight, I will ended with new acne *sigh* That's why I always stay with BB cream for daily make up. I've decided to try this one because I heard this foundation texture is lightweight plus I got this for almost free (use my last luxola voucher) hehehe..
Packaging: Stored in a tube with glass material, this foundation also comes with a small pump. I love pump packaging because it is more easier to control the amount of the product that I want to use. The disadvantage is the pump maybe not works well after some time / after the products run out. Fortunately, my pump still works perfectly since the start until now. The glass bottle packaging is quite risky to bring outside the house, so I think it isn't travel friendly product. Usually for this kind of product, I will pump out some products and stored in small plastic container to bring it with me.
Swatch + Texture: My shade is PO I think it can be considered as light beige and I really like the color, because it suits my skin tone well. The foundation itself is quite creamy, not runny but also not too thick. Easy to blend and feel lightweight on skin. The coverage is medium, it cover large pores, acne scars and eye bag well, but I always add more concealer for my deep acne scar. The oil control is my favourite, my face looks shiny after 4-5 hours, plus the staying power is also good. When the first time I used it, I gained new acnes after used it for 3 days straight, but the last time I used it (almost 12 hours) I didn't get any problem with my skin hahaha~ Guess I still need to use it rarely instead of daily.
Last Opinion: I love the lightweight texture of this foundation (it also has SPF too). I love the coverage and how the color suits my skin tone well. They have many shades to choose from this foundation, I feel confused at first but fortunately I choose the right shade. The price is also affordable, the glass packaging and the pump make it looks more luxury, though it isn't travel friendly. Maybelline is one of my drugstore brand, it definitely worth to try!
